Ozark Foundation’s OZ Kids™ Grit Crit – Grit Crit & criterium-style bike races for kids ages 2 -10! This is going to be a blast!
Race categories are grouped by age. We have races for both balance bikes and bikes with pedals. Featuring short, spectator-friendly courses with a mixture of surfaces from grass to paved trails, the event offers both balance and pedal bike competitions!
Registration is required for all racers. Space for the race is limited. Race fee is $15.

Eureka Springs premier outdoor recreation resource, the 1600-acre Lake Leatherwood City Park features a 25-mile trail network surrounded by the spring-fed Lake Leatherwood – and a proper Ozark Mountain setting for the OZ Kids™ Grit Crit.

12:00 p.m. - Packet pickup opens
1:30 p.m. - Course opens for warm-up
2:00 p.m. - Races begin - any necessary adjustments to race schedule will be communicated the week prior
2:05: Balance Ages 2-6 (one lap) -staging/ line up at 2:00
2:15: Pedal Ages 3-4 (one lap)- staging/line up at 2:05
2:25: Pedal Ages 5-6, (two laps)-staging/ line up at 2:15
2:35: Pedal Ages 7-8, (five minutes + one lap)- staging/ line up at 2:25
2:45: Pedal Ages 9-10, (eight minutes + one lap)-staging/ line up at 2:35
3:00 p.m. - Podiums
Racers must be on-site and ready to go, with their wristband on and race plate affixed to their bike, 30 minutes prior to their race start time.
